Happy New Year!

Brad and Katelyn came and celebrated the new year with us. It was such a blast to have them here, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed their company. It was sad to see them go! We love you guys and thanks again for coming!

Family Pictures!

We had some family pictures taken by my talented sister! They turned out beautiful and I am so grateful she took them for us! These are only a few.  Thanks again Nicole!

Christmas in Coeur d' Alene!

We headed up to CDA for Christmas this year. We had such a magical time. It stared up by spending a couple of days up at the cabin. While the adults skied the kids played in the snow.

My mom held her annual Christmas Eve party complete with friends, food, white elephant gifts, singing (including a solo from their neighbor, who once sang as a professional tenor. It was gorgeous to say the least) and of course the nativity. EVERYONE participates in the nativity while my dad reads the versus from the New Testament. Brexton was a shepherd complete with a wolf and a lamb.

My camera did not catch everyone in the picture!
"The best thing about Christmas is one day you are going to wake up, and it will be Christmas Morning!!!" Quote by: Curious George Christmas!
 Merry Christmas Morning to all!

Buried in wrapping paper and gifts.

Perfect Christmas day activity... eating the gingerbread house!

Annie and Shae were not here for the Christmas eve nativity so we did it later for them. Brexton was Joseph this time, not that he really noticed..... way more into that book he has.
 Best buds!

Sweet cousins! It was so hard to leave. We had a great time, thank you so much for everything!

Christmas Festivities!

Every year there is a fun little party given by the National Children's Study that we attend. Maci is involved in this study so we all get to go. They provide a Christmas breakfast lots of arts and crafts and Santa comes! Brexton was so excited to see Santa and tell him all that he wanted. Maci on the other hand....well you can see how she reacted.

First snowman of the year!
Lots of dancing to Christmas music!

Our dear friends the Carter's invited us over for a Christmas Celebration! We had a shepherds meal  and dressed up as shepherds. Brexton picked all the animal prints and decided he was going to be a tiger instead of a shepherd.

They laid out a huge blanket and we ate with our hands. We had chicken, bread, oranges, and sparkling cider. It was so fun to be a shepherd!
After that we decorated cupcakes and exchanged gifts! Thanks so much Carters we had a blast!

Thanksgiving!

Building an apple turkey is serious business.

 This was his structure.
Brian, Beth, and Carter came for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, some pictures were lost, but we got to spend some great time with them and loved having them!

We also got to go to SLC and see Kristin and Collin. It was so fun seeing them for a little bit. Just wish we could have spent more time!
